Der wahre Schatz der Steirer liegt auf ihren Kürbisfeldern. Auf über 12.000 Hektar werden Kürbisse angebaut, aus denen das tiefgrüne Öl gewonnen wird, das unumstrittenes Hoheitsrecht in den steirischen Salatschüsseln genießt. Seinen Siegeszug feierte das "grüne Gold" der Steirer aber nicht nur im eigenen Land; längst ist es auch hoch begehrtes Exportgut, das von Feinschmeckern in der ganzen Welt geschätzt wird. Bei unserem Besuch besteht auch die Möglichkeit, einen Kürbis für Halloween mitzunehmen.
